  3. The SpecDisk system was developed by Artisoft with three main goals in mind:

  5. 1) To use as little scarce resources as possible - Paper, trees, energy.
  6. 2) To pollute as little as possible - Inks, dyes, glues, etc.
  7. 3) To provide you with up-to-the-minute product information, press releases,
  8.    news, technical support notes, product reviews, corporate/product history,
  9.    upcoming events, training classes, prices, and a network configuration
  10.    calculator.

  12. This diskette is read-only but it can be recycled and reused by simply
  13. cutting a notch on its side.  Better yet, give the SpecDisk to a friend or
  14. business associate to let them know about the Artisoft product line.

  25. To navigate through the SpecDisk, you simply press the Up, Down, PgUp, PgDn,
  26. Home or End keys to make a selection of a particular topic.  Some topics may
  27. have sub-topics.  Finally you will reach text on a subject.

  29. When you are looking at text, you may press the function key [ F1 ] to print a
  30. copy of the text to LPT1.  Please make sure that your printer is on and
  31. ready to print {before} you press [ F1 ].

  33. Say, for example, you would like to search for the word {10baseT} in a text
  34. description.  While looking at the text, press [ F5 ] and you will be asked
  35. for a word.  The search will either find the word and place you at that point
  36. in the document or leave you where you requested the search.
